After turning off my alarm clock this morning, I got to thinking about the noises I hate. That led to thinking about the ones I love (see, I’m trying to think positive thoughts). Along with the alarm clock, these are noises I hate:
- The beep my treadmill makes when I turn it on
- Nails on a chalkboard
- Fork on a plate
- An emery board on anything
Now for the likes:
- Water running over stones
- Birds chirping
- My husband’s voice
- A child’s laugh
- Hard-soled shoes on a hard surface (like you hear in the movies)
