I have found as I get older, that as awesome as it is to do good myself, it's much more gratifying to see someone I love, teach, have watched work very hard do good. Just as it was so wonderful to see my little (he'll always be little to me) brother win Supreme Champion Ewe at the Oklahoma State Fair years ago, it was equally as exciting to see the girls bring home that 2nd place trophy. They have learned so much and progressed so far this season. And the girls that joined the team late have stepped up beautifully.
Coaching can be a challenge, but it is the players themselves that make it worth all of the pressures. To see them grow, improve, and take pride in their efforts is a feeling I'll carry with me for a long, long time.
