I remember Phil Carey as business tycoon Asa Buchanan in the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live". "One Life to Live" came on right after "All My Children" and right before "General Hospital" when I was growing up. My mom was a stay-at-home mom then and these were her soap operas, which meant they were my brother's and mine as well. I loved days off from school because it meant that I would get to catch up.
I was saddened to find out that another of my favorite actors on the show, Clint Ritchie, who played Clint Buchanan, had passed away not long ago.
