From The Quotations Page

Genres in my iPod

Mak asked me a while back what was in my iPod and there wasn't really any way I could tell her, except to say a little bit of everything. I put a list to the right showing the genres...I guess it's obvious I like a little bit of everything.

Tagless Shirts

I don't get the whole tagless shirt thing. They say it's tagless, but all they've really done is move it to the side where it really scratches. If there is going to be a tag that sticks out at all, just leave it at the neck. Thank you for your consideration (end sarcasm).

Charlotte's Web

If you haven't seen Charlotte's Web yet, I highly recommend it. I feel it stays true to the spirit of the book. Both made me cry (I know, I'm such a sap). I thought it was an odd and wonderful choice of Robert Redford for the voice of an arachnophobic horse named Ike.

A bit of movie trivia for you: Kathy Bates took over the roll of the unsinkable Molly Brown in the movie Titanic for Reba McEntire after Reba was unable to do the film because of scheduling conflicts. In Charlotte's Web they play the cows, Bitsy and Betsy.

Softball

Well, it's been a while since I posted. Softball games are about to start. I guess we've been pretty lucky. We've only had to cancel two practices; one for cold and one for rain. We have team pictures Saturday and then the games begin on Tuesday. The team is definitely improving. I think the girls are learning and having fun, and that's my biggest goal. They are wearing me out. They like to run the bases after practice, trying to catch the girl (or guy if Levi or Darryn is running with them) in front of them. I'm anxious to see how sharp we look Saturday, all in our uniforms.

I'm so tired. The Molly dog is scared of storms, so when they've been coming through at night, she's been keeping me up. Then she gets to sleep during the day so that she's ready for the storm the next night. It's my day off tomorrow, so maybe I can get caught up...or I'll just spend all day keeping her awake.
